People have stored our whole lives on phones in this age.

We are busying living from Monday to Sunday. Home, office, school, bus, shop and ect. we come in and out. You’re finding it’s almost impossible to find a wall outlet to charge your phone when you’re constantly on the move. Continue reading to learn more about power banks and their impact on your phone’s batteries.
There are two main types of power banks on the market. The first is made up of Lithium ions cells and the second one is consisted by Lithium Polymer cells.

The Lithium-ion battery power banks are more efficient and cheaper than the others. But power banks that contain Lithium-ion batteries will lose their charging potential over time and are larger.

Power banks with Lithium Polymer are more expensive but safer. They don’t lose any of their charging capacity like Lithium Ion. It is worth mentioning that they take less time to charge.

They are further divided into three broad categories.

  1. Universal Power Bank

Universal power banks are the most popular. They come in a variety of sizes and output options, giving the consumer the option to select the right one for them.

  • Solar Charged Power Bank

This kind of power banks have photovoltaic panels that are charged by sunlight. The photovoltaic panels are then used to charge electronic devices. It is an environmentally-friendly backup battery but it takes a long time to charge and there is not enough sunlight.

  • Battery Phone Case

These devices are small and easy to transport. They have a limited number of devices. If you’re thinking of buying a powerbank, make sure to choose the one that is most suitable for your needs.

How to Choose the Best Power Bank for Your Phone

Before buying a power bank, there are some things you should consider:

Capacity:A power bank’s capacity should be greater than your phone’s. A 2200 mAh power bank wouldn’t be capable of fully charging a phone that requires 3000 mAh. A power bank with 6000mAh would also be capable of fully charging your phone twice.

The Number of Outputs:Some power banks only have one outlet, while others have two. The number of devices you need to charge simultaneously will determine which power bank you choose.

Output Specification: The output from the power bank should match the output of your phone. The standard output for phones should be at least 5V. It would cause damage to the phone if it was more than that.
